Meet the Difference at TCC

  • TCC & Building History
    The site where the Training & Conference Center (TCC) stands today was once home to three dairies: Bryant Chapman Dairy (1938–1956), Sealtest Dairy (1959–1978), and New England Dairies (1985–1999). In 2010, Chrysalis Center opened the Social Innovation Hub, leading to the creation of the TCC. To honor our community and history, you will be greeted at the entrance by Butterfly the cow and his calves, artifacts of the dairy factory along with the original Sealtest sign proudly displayed in our lobby.
  • What is TCC max capacity?
    During business hours (Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm) we can hold up to 100 guests. Outside of business hours, we can accommodate up to 200 guests at a round table setup, or 250 guests theater or cocktail party setup.
  • How far in advance do I have to order?
    Please place new catering orders at least 10 business days in advance and confirm your guest count by noon, seven business days prior.
  • Can I rent the TCC and bring in my own food?
    To rent the TCC space out required the addition of food provided by us at La Cocina exclusively.
  • Where does your food come from?
    La Cocina is part of the Food Hub at the Chrysalis Center, with many of our menu items sourced from Urban Roots, a hydroponic grow center operated by Farmer Sean. We also gather fresh ingredients from the Food Forest and Railway Gardens, our seasonal community gardens.
  • Do you provide alcohol?
    Due to our work within Chrysalis Center, we cannot provide alcohol or allow BYOB. However, we can offer an estimate from an outside vendor who can supply alcohol for your event.
  • What is included in a room rental?
    Room rentals include WiFi, customizable layouts, white linens, tables, and chairs. Tech services are available at an additional cost.

All revenues earned from renting space at the TCC (Training & Conference Center) go directly to support the mission of Chrysalis Center, Inc.  La Cocina is the exclusive caterer for the TCC.
